Composition - 1 dose:

Virus panleucopeniae contagiosae felis inactivatum min. 103,0 TCID50

Herpesvirus felis inactivatum min. 105,0 TCID50

Calicivirus felis inactivatum min. 105,5 TCID50

Virus rabiei inactivatum min 1 IU

Thiomersalum, solvens oleicum

Indication:

For the active immunization against feline panleukopenia, herpesviral and caliciviral infections, and rabies of cats.

Contraindication:

Never vaccinate individuals showing the symptoms of the systemic feverish disease.

Advice on correct administration:

Cats should be vaccinated with the vaccine Biofel PCH not earlier than at the age of 8 - 10 weeks.The revaccination should be performed within the period of 3 - 4 weeks after the primary vaccination with the vaccine Biofel PCHR. The vaccine Biofel PCHR can be administered at the age of 3 months and above.

The protective immunity onset occurs 2 - 4 weeks after the revaccination.

Next regular revaccination with the vaccine Biofel PCHR should be carried out at the intervals of 12 months.

Shake the vial content well before use.

Only clinically healthy and well nourished individuals should be vaccinated. Possible antiparasitic treatment should precede the vaccination by at least 10 days.

Method of administration:

Subcutaneously, preferably at the region behind the blade-bone.
Dosage: 1 ml irrespective of the age, weight and stock of an individual but not earlier that at the age of 3 months.
Undesirable effects: Adequate local reaction (obviously at the size of a pea) that disappears within 3 weeks may occur at the vaccine application spot. Hypersensitivity occurs only rarely.

Warning:

To the user:

The product contains mineral oil. Accidental injection or accidental injury by the product being injected can cause strong pain and oedema, particularly when applied into a joint or a finger; rarely, it can result in the loss of the finger affected if the relevant medical care is not ensured quickly.

In case of an accidental injection of the preparation, consult a physician even if the volume injected was small. Show the physician the relevant package leaflet.

When pain persists for more than 12 hours consult your physician repeatedly.

To the physician:

This product contains mineral oil. Irrespectively of the volume injected, an accidental injection of the preparation mentioned can induce the intensive oedema that can result e.g. in ischemic necrosis and even a finger loss. Special, quick surgical care is necessary; the injury can demand surgical intervention (the opening of the affected spot and its irrigation, particularly if a finger pulp or a tendon is affected.

Storage:

Keep out of the reach and sight of the children. In the dark and dry place at the temperature between 2 °C and 8 °C, protected from frost.
The vaccine shall be consumed within 8 hours after being opened for the first time.

Protection period:

Not intended for food animals.
