Description and pack sizes
:A clear, light yellow solution, containing ketoprofen 100 mg/mL, packed in 100mL glass vials.

INDICATIONS:

Ketoprofen is a nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID) of the propionic acid class. Ketoprofen inhibits the cyclooxygenase pathway of the arachidionic acid cascade. Cyclooxygenase is the major enzyme involved in the conversion of arachidionic acid to vasoactive prostaglandins, prostacyclin, and thromboxane. The anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic effects of ketoprofen are thus attributable to its inhibition of cyclooxygenase.
